Final Thoughts

Women will not read your entire profile if the first section is boring so put some effort to stand out. Here are a few tips for you to consider as you create your bio:
- If you can't hook a woman in from the outset of you're dating profile you're probably going to be ignored. Avoid boring introductions and start strong to hold her interest.
- Make your profile easy to read. Some women skim your profile while others read it word for word. Format your profile, so it appeals to both types of women. I covered this in another blog post; Do People Skim or Read Online Dating Profiles? The Answer is Both.
- Show humor, confidence, and share why you're online. Avoid anything which may show you're passive or are "Just seeing what's out there."
- Spell check everything! Women are turned off by men who misspell words. I discussed this in this blog post; Why Grammar Is Critical In Your Dating Profile About Me Section.
