It’s that time of the year again, the annual Match.com singles in America Study.

Every year, Match.com surveys singles across the United States about sex, relationships, and other dating topics.

This past year Match.com surveyed over 5,500 singles and has released their results showing the trends of singles across the country.

Here are some of the results. Take a look!

First Date Facts

93% of participants want to get married.

33% of singles met their last first date through online dating.

26% of singles met their last first date through a friend.

You are 107% less likely to get a second date if you skip dinner or drinks.

Taking your date to sushi increases your chances for a second date by 170%.

Dinner at an expensive restaurant increases your chances for a second date by 50%.

Having drinks with dinner increases your odds by 137%.

After dinner drinks increases your odds for a second date by 59%.

Talking about politics over dinner increases your chances for a second date by 91%.

Be careful, only 14% of singles are ok with talking about their ex.

Less than 25% of men and women care about sports.

60% of singles prefer an evening date.

22% of singles prefer an afternoon date.

39% of singles prefer to go out on a Saturday night while 34% prefer to go out on a Friday night.

7% of women want to make out at the end of the first date.

6% of men expect to have sex on the first date.

50% of singles think a “good” first date ends with a kiss.

Politics

40% of participants were Democrat, 19% Republican, 24% had no political affiliation, 15% were independent, and 2% were Libertarian.

The study found that singles who have a passion for politics are more likely to be having better sex than other singles.

If you are a Libertarian, you are 57% more likely to explore an open relationship, 110% more likely to engage in a threesome, and 80% more likely to drunk dial an ex.

Hillary supporters are 129% more likely to drink wine, 606% more likely to be gay, and 43% more likely to be actively looking for a commitment.

Trump supporters are 79% more likely to drink beer, 82% more likely to be unemployed, and 116% more likely to talk about an ex.

36% of women surveyed would “Ghost” Donald Trump.

SEX, SEX, SEX

Baby Boomers are 118% more likely to have a one-night stand on vacation and are 53% more likely to have a threesome.

Millenials are 165% more likely to have filmed sex and 236% more likely to be drunk for the first hookup.

44% of singles lost their virginity by the age of 18. 75% of singles had sex by the age of 21.

16% of women are open to making a sex tape and 48% of men have had sex in public.

55% of women have had multiple orgasms and 3% of men never orgasm from sex.

75% of singles have had less than 15 sex partners while 50% of singles have had 6 or less partners.
