Science Had Identified The Benefits Of A Deep Voice

Studies have found the biggest benefits of a deep voice for men is women reactions positively to men with lower voices and find them HOTTER! That’s right; if you want to make a favorable impression with women, your voice is the key.

Recent studies have found women find men with lower (deep) voices make a better first impression and better yet; more attractive.  It appears that it’s good to have a deep voice to attract women.

Make A Good First Impression With Your Voice

Researchers from the University of Aberdeen in Scotland and McMaster University in Canada conducted an experiment looking at women’s responses to low and high pitched voices.

In the first experiment, women viewed an object while listening to a low-pitched or high-pitched electronically manipulated male voice that would say the name of the object.  A computer was used to manipulate the voices to make them more feminine (high-pitched) or masculine (low-pitched).

The women were then shown two similar versions of the object and asked to identify the one they had seen before. They were also asked which voice they preferred.  The results of the first experiment were that women remembered the objects with more accuracy when the low-pitched voice was used to say the name of the object.

In the second experiment, women how hadn’t participated in the first experiment rated the voices of actual males. The end result of this experiment found that women scored the lower-pitched voices higher.

In the end, the study found women had a “strong preference” for low-pitched male voices.

Women Find Men With Deep Voices Hotter

Continuing the analysis of the benefits of a deep voice, another study, “The Effects of Voice Pitch on Perceptions of Attractiveness: Do You Sound Hot or Not?”, women were presented a slide show with images randomly paired with voices.  The voices were digitally altered to create a high-pitch and low-pitch condition for the men.
The men were rated as being:

• “good looking”
• “appealing”
• “plain”
• “unattractive.”

The participants were also asked how mature, childish, smart, trustworthy, friendly, and aggressive the pictures were.

The results found that men with low voices were rated as significantly more mature as men with high voices.   Men with low voices were also rated as significantly more attractive than males with high voices.

Final Thoughts

It’s no secret that women respond to men with “masculine” voices. Think Barry White or Vin Diesel. Clearly, if you want to make a favorable first impression you should look at your voice.

Studies show one of the benefits of a deep voice is that a low-pitched voice will make you hotter as well as more memorable to women. A deep voice can give you an advantage over other men in the dating game.

But be careful, though, a study from McMaster University found women may be more attracted to men with low-pitched voices, however, the research found women believe men with deeper voices are more likely to cheat.
