A Dating Site for Burrito Lovers?

What started out as an April Fools joke has turned into a real dating site for burrito lovers. I thought Farmers Only was a joke when it was launched, but a new dating site for people who love burritos takes the cake.

Forget dating sites and apps such as Match, OkCupid, Tinder, Grinder, AfroRomance, and Eharmony, Burrit-Oh is the new kid in town.

Zoosk created Burrit-OH! for men and women who are burrito lovers.

The dating site is pretty basic. No bells and whistles here. No personal information is displayed; do you want kids, do you have a pet, do you smoke, how tall are you, etc…

How does the dating site work? Let’s take a look at the setup process for Burrit-Oh!

Should you take this seriously? No. The site was set up as an April Fools joke but some people clearly use it. There are women on the site, but I’m not sure how many women are actively using it.

As I am writing this it’s 9 pm on a Tuesday and there are 277 women, ages 28 – 38, in San Diego who are online on Match.com.



I can assure you that, while there are over 250 women on Match as I write this, there aren’t 20 women actively on Burrit-OH in San Diego. The site doesn’t show if a user is online or even the last time they were active on the site.

You can’t see personal information such as their education, if they want kids, passions, hobbies, etc… All you know is if they like sour cream in their burrito. Take it with a grain of salt.

It takes about 20 seconds to create a profile on Burrit-OH so have fun with it to find other burrito lovers like yourself. If you are serious about finding an actual date, though, stick with the more common dating sites like OkCupid of Match.com.
