Feeld is another app in the growing casual dating market. This post is a comprehensive review of the Feeld dating app. 

Feeld claims it's an inclusive dating app for singles and couples to "explore their desires and find meaningful connections." Keep reading this review of the Feeld dating app to find out if it's a good choice for you to meet women. 

What is Feeld?

Feeld is a mobile-only app for casual dating. Its focus is for couples and singles to "explore dating together." The app is highly inclusive of gender and sexuality.

Feeld claims it's "on a mission to open up the future of human connection through normalizing sexual desire." The app is for singles and couples to find like-minded people.

Feeld is a mobile-only - there is no desktop version. You can get it here:

Are only couples using Feeld?

The app is for both singles and couples, but you will quickly notice a large number of couples are using it. I can't recall an app with this volume of couples. Don't worry - there are plenty of singles using the app.

Is Feeld a hookup app?

Feeld claims it's a "non-prescriptive space," meaning you can seek hookups or explore it to find whatever relationship type you desire.

From what I see, Feel is not a hookup app. Many open-minded people are using the app, but hardly any are seeking a one-night fling.

There are plenty of members using Feeld right now. Here's what you'll find on the app:

• Women looking to explore their sexuality.
• Couples seeking a third (man or woman).
• Women seeking a FWB.
• Women in non-monogamous relationships.
• Couples seeking partner swaps.

And much more. You name it, you can find it on Feeld. Below is an example of the settings on the app. 

How to sign up on Feeld

Joining Feeld is quick and straightforward. You sign-up for the app through your Facebook account, an email address, or both. 

If you sign up via Facebook, your Facebook friends will not see your profile on Feeld. However, if you like them on Feeld, you will appear in their "Discover" feature (see below). 

Is Feeld free?

Feeld is free to use - anyone can browse profiles and chat with other members. Here is a list of features you can use after signing up for the app:

• Browse profiles - You can browse profiles for free on Feeld. 
• Like/Dislike profiles - When you like a woman's profile, and she likes yours, a conversation starts. You can also remove women from your feed by disliking their profile. 
• Pings - A "like" that goes to the top of a woman's queue. Think of it as a "super like."
• Discover - Your profile is displayed to potential matches on Feeld. 
• Limited likes - The free version of Feeld gives you a handful of daily likes. Once out, you must wait 24 hours before you can like more women's profiles. 

Feeld offers a premium membership - Majestic

Feeld offers a membership known as a "Majestic Membership." This membership offers additional benefits beyond the free membership.

The Majestic membership is worth exploring. Here are features of Feeld's Majestic Membership:

• Last seen - Know when someone was last on Feeld (the last time they were online).
• Private photos - can hide your photos offering discretion.
• Upgraded filtering options - You can seek specific kinks and show people who have been active the last 7 days.
• Ability to see likes - Feeld will notify you when someone likes your profile.
• Adds 1 ping a day for you to use. 

The last premium feature is Incognito mode, which hides your profile. How it works depends on how you sign up on Feeld.

When your Feeld profile is connected to a Facebook account - Incognito mode hides your profile from Facebook friends. Your friends cannot see your profile unless you like them

When your Feeld profile is not connected to a Facebook account - Incognito mode hides your profile from all users. Members cannot see you unless you like them.

How to create a profile on Feeld

Creating a profile on Feeld feels familiar to anyone who uses other apps. The app offers more details in a bio than similar apps in its class. 

• Photos - You can load multiple photos. Also, you can set some photos to private - these are displayed when matching up with other members. Feeld doesn't allow shirtless selfies on the app. 
• Imaginary name - This is essentially a username. Creating a username is a requirement when joining the app. 
• Sexuality - Set your sexuality - straight, gay, pansexual, asexual, etc. Feeld offers several options.
• Bio - Write about yourself to grab women's attention. Feeld gives you 1500 characters to write your bio - more than enough room to showcase your lifestyle.
• Desires - You can share up to 10 desires on your bio. The app allows you to type these in. 
• Interests - Share up to 10 interests in your profile. You can type whatever you want in this section. 
• Incognito - A special mode where you can hide your profile until you like someone first. Incognito is a premium feature (see the previous section).
• Show me on Feeld - Essentially, hides your profile from everyone using the app. 

How does messaging work?

Once you like a woman and she likes you back, a conversation starts - Feeld calls this a "connection." From here, you can trade messages.

You can share photos in your messages with other members. The app allows you to take a picture or load one from your phone's album. 

You can also create a group chat with several people that functions similar to a conference call. The group chat allows you to connect with groups of people you match up with on the app.

Beware of fake profiles!

You may encounter fake profiles on Feeld. They are easy to spot. After matching with you, they typically will attempt to get you off the app quickly (see below), so pay attention.

Is Feeld a good way to meet women?

When looking at apps, I ask two questions: 1) Are there women on the app, and 2) Does the app deliver on its promise? Here are the answers to my Feeld dating app review:

1. Are women on the Feeld app? Yes, there are enough female members to justify joining it. There are women of all ages using the app - from 20-somethings to women in their 40s and beyond.

Note - there are a lot of couples on the app seeking a third. Most are seeking a female, but some are searching for men. 

2. Does Feeld deliver on its promise? Feeld is worth exploring because of the number of women using it. The free version is a solid choice to test the app and see if it's for you. 

Final Thoughts

Feeld is a solid choice if you're looking to meet open-minded women (and couples). I'm surprised at the number of women exploring various kinks on Feeld.

There's a great mix of women on Feeld. You'll find women in their early 20's up to 50's and beyond. I can't recall an app in this class with such a wide range of female users.

You can get good results using the free version of Feeld, but I recommend the Majestic (premium) membership. The Majestic membership is only 10.99, which is very low for a monthly membership in this app class.

The app is simple, easy to jump into, and has a pleasant feel. There are no bells and whistles to get lost in with the app.

Feeld allows you to create a large profile which is great. You can showcase your kinks/interests in your profile. I encourage you to put effort into your bio - women are more likely to connect with you.

Sending messages on Feeld will feel familiar to anyone who uses an app. I like that the app allows you to share photos in a conversation.

I encountered a few issues using Feeld; mainly, the app doesn't refresh active users. I either changed a filter setting or shut the app down and restarted to see women actively using the app in Discover. 

Feeld may be confusing if you're not familiar with the volume of terms these days. Many women and couples use terms in their profiles that may require you to Google.

Also, there are a lot of couples using this app. I'm not joking! If you're a guy looking to find a couple, this app is for you.

If you're looking for a hookup app, there are better options.  I recommend Pure and Adultfriendinfer for over Feeld (see my reviews above).

Comprehensive Be Naughty App Review

The Be naughty review is simple - the app is an utter disappointment. It's one of the worst choices for finding a casual relationship.

Be naughty claims, "Our service helps you to discover new people whether you are interested in just a friendly conversation or a serious relationship." The app also says it gives "yourself a chance to find love and build meaningful connections." The app fails to fulfill this claim miserably.

My credit card was hacked - TWICE!

Before diving into my review, I want you to know I tested this app twice using the premium version. Unfortunately, my credit card was hacked both times I tested the app.

So, just a warning for you. I don't recommend this app because my credit card was compromised using it to pay for the premium version of this app.

What is Be naughty?

Be naughty claims it's an app for "building meaningful connections," but it appears to be an app for sex at first glance. A high percentage of women's profile photos are naked or in sexual positions.

Also, when joining the app, you may think there are a ton of female members. This is a total deception. In my testing, nearly 99% of profiles are fakes, and I was contacted by bots.

Is Be naughty free?

Be naughty allows you to view profiles for free. You can also send a message for free, but it's limited.

If a woman sends you a message, you cannot read it unless you upgrade to a premium membership. A timer appears, and once it expires, the message is removed from your inbox.

If you want to use Be naughty to its full effect, you must pay the premium membership. The app offers a cheap initial "trial" cost, but it increases significantly after your trial period.

The based pricing for Be naughty is below. When choosing one of the options below, you agree to pay the full price after your trial membership. Be naughty offers a relatively cheap initial cost, but the cost is very expensive after the trial period. 

Be naughty offers more options for the premium membership option. The app offers several options:

• Premium Dater - Full HTTPS encryption. Browse incognito. Auto History Cleaning. Top in messenger. Higher in search. Get read receipt. Get seen by x5 more people.
• Extra Security - Full HTTPS encryption. Browse incognito. Auto History Cleaning.
• Chataholic - Top in messenger. Higher in search. Get read receipt. Get seen by x5 more people.

How to create a profile on Be naughty.

Creating your profile on Be naughty is similar to other apps.

• Photos - You can take photos or upload them to your profile.
• Personal info - Enter your marital status, hair color, body type, etc.
• Videos - create or upload videos to your profile.
• Status - Essentially a short bio, You're limited to 140 characters, so make it count.
• Looking for - Enter the age and distance you're seeking for women.
• Additional info - More traits including eye color, social drinker, weight, education, etc.

I recommend adding a few quality photos. Also, write something in your "personal info" section. Describe yourself or write what you're looking for.

What are the features of Be naughty?

• Like Gallery - This feature allows you to swipe right or left on random profiles. You can also send a message to women. 
• Chatrooms - You can chat with other people using the app. The majority of people are men seeking women. 
• Filtering tool - Be naughty has a very good filtering tool. Traits include photos, ethnicity, eye color, piercings, etc.

Are there women on it?

When using the Be naughty app, it appears there are a lot of women using the app. It's a lie - the majority of profiles are fake.

Women are using the Be naughty app. Unfortunately, there's a handful. You are subjected to an onslaught of likes and messages from fake profiles like the one below.

It's frustrating using the app because the majority of profiles are fake. I was able to connect with three women while hundreds of fakes. 

Pay attention to the profiles on Be naughty. Fakes profiles typically use 1 photo and have an age range of 18 - 78 years old in "any city." This is because the profiles are visible to all men using the app. 

Is Be naughty a good way to meet women?

When looking at apps, I ask two questions: 1) Are there women on the app, and 2) Does the app deliver on its promise? Here's the breakdown for my Be naughty review:

1. Are women on the Be naughty app? No. I tested this app several times and encountered 2 women. I was bombarded with fakes. The sheer number of bots on this app is beyond belief. 

2. Does Be naughty deliver on its promise? No. Be Naughty promises, "Our service helps you to discover new people whether you are interested in just a friendly conversation or a serious relationship" and "Give yourself a chance to find love and build meaningful connections. The app fails because it's full of fake profiles.

Final Thoughts

The experience on Be Naught is terrible. It's one of my worst experiences testing an app. I was contacted by fake females constantly.

Be warned - if you use the app, you will be inundated with messages and likes from fake profiles. It will happen.

The app also encourages you to upgrade to the premium membership through deception. You can message a woman for free, but if one responds, you cannot read her message. A timer appears, and once it expires, the message is gone - unless you upgrade your membership.

While using the free version, the app continually sends you popups to upgrade your membership. It ruins the experience.

If you decide to test the app, choose a week. Make sure you immediately cancel your membership.

Canceling your membership is a chore on Be naughty. You have to go through hoops. Once canceling (after several screens), the app emails you a code that you have to re-enter in your profile settings. It's a pain.

I did connect with a few women, but hardly any use the app. The app is not worth joining.

I could go into a few of the positives, but in the end, there aren't enough women on the app. I can't recommend this app at all. Look elsewhere.

Secret App Review - Solid Potential, But Not That Good. 

Secret is an app for casual encounters. Is Secret a good way to find hookups? This review of the Secret app answers those questions and more. 

The idea of Secret is good, but the lack of women and the extreme number of fake profiles make it a terrible experience. Yes, there are women on the app - so you may find a hookup or two.

The tagline of Secret is "Dating nearby for casual encounters." Let's dive into my Secret app review below to examine it.

What is the Secret dating app?

Secret is a mobile-only app that is for finding casual liaisons with women. The app claims, "you can find any desired relationship style: monogamous or polyamorous, for long-term commitment or one night stand." From my testing, Secret is a hookup app, pure and simple.

You can find Secret here at the Google Play Store. The app is not available on the Apple App Store.

Is Secret free?

Secret offers you a free membership and a premium membership (VIP). The free membership allows you to browse profiles and like women. You can start conversations with women for free when you both like each other.

The VIP (premium) membership opens the app up. You can send messages to women without the mutual like. The cost of the VIP membership is below.

However, there's a limitation with the VIP membership. For whatever reason, you can't connect with all women. In some cases, the app prompts you to pay for credits to start conversations with women on the scroll feed. This is covered in the next section below.

Secret requires credits (Even if you are a VIP)

One confusing thing about Secret's pricing structure is the VIP premium membership doesn't allow you to message all women on the app. One would assume the VIP membership allows you to message all women - it does not.

When attempting to message women in the scroll, a popup appears like below. This is frustrating because I believed that paying for a premium membership allows you to message anyone on the app.

There is no documentation explaining why you are required to pay credits even though you use a VIP membership. Just know that even with a paid membership, you may have to pay to message other women

How the Secret app works

Secret has a familiar feel to it. From the main menu, the app offers several actions you may select.

The good thing about Secret is that there aren't many features. This makes the app easy to learn (and use). Below is the menu for the app.

Here is a breakdown of what you can do from the menu.

• My profile - You can update your notification settings and see the documentation for help. 
• Become a VIP/VIP status - This shows if you're using the premium (VIP) membership and your current status. 
• Credits - You can purchase credits. Credits allow you to send messages and initiate contact with women.
• I want to meet - Secret presents a feed where you scroll up or down viewing women using the app. It's sorted based on your location.
• I'm feeling lucky - The app randomly matches you with women. The women can be nearby our thousands of miles away. You can pass, like, or send an icebreaker.
• Interested in me - The app shows a gallery of women who like your dating profile. From here, you can message women or like them back.
• Correspondence - This is your message queue (inbox). It shows all your conversations with women on the app.

Setting up a profile is easy.

Setting up a profile is quick and easy. There's no bio. I'm disappointed because the written word is powerful when done right. A well-written bio can prompt women to like your profile and initiate conversations. 

Of course, you can add photos to your bio on the app. The app allows you to take a selfie or load a photo from your phone.

The "About me" section of your profile is your profile settings. There is not much information on your profile. Here is what the app allows you to enter:

• Name
• Birthday
• Height
• Car ownership
• Country
• Region
• City

Your profile on Secret is bare bones. It should take less than a minute to answer the "About me" section on the app. 

How to connect with women on Secret.

You can like a woman's profile or send a message (VIP or credits only) when browsing profiles. If a woman likes you back, you can message her for free. Otherwise, you must pay to initiate conversations with women on Secret.

How to message women on Secret.

Sending a message will feel familiar if you've used other apps. You simply type and send. That's it. Easy peasy.

Secret allows you to add photos to your messages. You can either take a picture or choose one from your phone.

Do women use the Secret app?

The good news is women are using the Secret app. The bad news is there simply aren't enough to recommend this app.

Using the app, it appears there are a ton of women actively using it. Below is a screenshot of the women interested in me. The problem is the majority are fakes.

Don't be fooled by the picture above. Interest from a lot of women may prompt you to sign up for the VIP membership. The reality is fake profiles outnumber legitimate women by a wide margin.

However, women are using the app. Ask her what she's looking for to ensure you're on the same page when you match with one.

Unfortunately, there are also escorts using the app. You can weed these women out by also asking, "what are you looking for?" Be direct to determine if the woman is genuinely looking for a good time or wants money. 

Secret allows you to propose a date.

You can propose a date on your profile. The key is writing a description painting a picture of what a date with you looks like. Women seeing this may respond to your proposal.

Customer support... a total joke. 

You can turn notifications on (or off) on the app. The app allows you to receive notifications for a "like" or a message.

Online support is non-existent. It's not in English. I have no idea what the language is below, but good lucking figuring out the help.

Final Thoughts

When I review dating apps, I look at two things: Are women on the app, and does it deliver its promise. Let me break down my review of the Secret app like this:

1. Are there women on the app? Yes, but only a handful. Secret fails to deliver because there are so few women on it. It appears there are many women, but once you use it, you'll discover the majority are fake profiles.

Fake profiles are easy to identify. The women are typically early to mid-20s and super attractive. Their messages are brief, full of grammar mistakes, and they try to get you off the app - on WhatsApp, for example.

2. Does it deliver what it promises? No! Secret promises "dating nearby for casual encounters." There are some women on this app, but they are few and far between.

Secret feels like a big cash grab. Paying for the premium membership (VIP), you would expect to message anyone on the app. Unfortunately, the app requires you to purchase credits to message some women. This is a total rip-off. 

I like the simplicity of the app. It's quick to join and set up a profile. You can be off to the races in minutes. 

The support for this app is non-existent. The documentation isn't in English, so it's on your to figure out issues you have. 

The biggest issue for an app like this is the lack of women. Even if the features suck, as long as women use the app, it's acceptable.

I cannot recommend Secret. It's not a bad experience; it's just there are better options if you're seeking casual encounters. Pure, Hud, and AdultFriendFinder as superior to Secret for casual relationships.

Hud is a hookup and casual dating app. Therefore, this is not an app you join looking for your soulmate. Not all women on Hud are looking for NSA relationships.

There are women on Hud seeking sexting, a FWB, casual romances, and more. There are also couples seeking playmates.

Hud is only a mobile app – there's no desktop version. You can download Hud from the App Store or Play store.

The app claims to have over 8 million downloads and 95 thousand weekly installs. So, it's growing fast.

Is Hud free?

A basic membership on Hud is free. It includes unlimited messages with matches, basic search options, and up to 60 potential matches on your feed at one time.

The app does offer a premium membership. This allows you to message whomever you want and use Hud’s advanced search filters.

One thing I recommend is taking advantage of Hud's 7-day trial. You get access for an entire week to explore the app and decide if it's for you.

What are the free features of Hud?

You can connect with women on Hud using the free version. The app gives you the minimum features to meet women. The free features include:

• Conversations - A mutual like with a woman initiates a conversation.
• Voice message - You can send voice messages in your conversations with women.
• Priority chats - Your message goes to the top of a woman's inbox.
• Video chat - Hud allows you to have a video chat in your conversation with women.
• My bedroom - Share your bedroom interests, kinks, and fetishes.

What's included in the premium membership?

The premium membership offers several advantages over the free version. Here are some of the features:

• Unlimited messages - send messages to whomever you want.
• Rewind - if you accidentally dislike a woman, you can match up with her.
• Premium filters - includes height, smoking, drinking, drugs, etc.
• Viewed me - allows you to see women who view your profile.
• Liked me - see who likes your profile.

The only premium feature that is worth the cost is unlimited messages. The reason is that you can start conversations instead of waiting for a mutual like. That is the only reason I recommend using the premium version.

Hud offers additional features you can pay for.

Hud offers additional premium features that cost a little extra. Priority chats put your messages at the top of a woman's inbox. This feature could get your messages read by women more often.

The Boost feature puts your profile at the top of a woman's scroll feed. Therefore, your profile is shown first above every other guy.

How to sign up for Hud.

Signing up for Hud is simple and quick. You can sign up through your Facebook account, Google account, or use your phone number. When using Facebook, the app uses your basic information to fill your profile.

All you need to do is enter your name, birthday and load at least one phone. After that, you're off to the races and start swiping on women's profiles.

I recommend writing a short bio and updating your profile traits (height, sexuality setting, drinking, etc.) before swiping. Women look at your bio to get an idea of who you are before liking your profile or messaging you.

Change your search filter too. Hud defaults your search range to hundreds of miles. With the free version, the app limits women in your scroll feed, so it's best to focus on women who are closer to your location.

How to create a profile on Hud.

Creating a profile on Hud is quick and easy. Most of the steps will feel familiar to people who use dating apps. However, Hud does offer something you don't find on others, an STD badge (more on that below).

There are a lot of sections of a profile on Hud. These are available for your profile:

• Photos - You can load photos from your phone to take a picture. Hud claims profiles with 3 or more photos get up to 46% more matches.
• Bio - You can write a short bio. I encourage you to do so.
• Photo verification - Hud will place a badge on your profile if you take a selfie and submit it for verification.
• STD safety badge - Links to the Safely App to verify your STD status.
• My info - Answer your traits: height, sign, drinking, smoking, sexuality, etc.
• Interests - Choose preselected interests shown on your bio.
• Link to Spotify or Instagram.

How does Hud work?

Hud is similar to apps such as Hinge or Bumble. The app presents women in a feed that you scroll up and down. From the feed, you can dislike (pass on) the woman, like her, or send a message.

Click the "X" beneath a woman's photo to remove her from your feed. The message bubble is how you write a message. The heart icon likes the woman's profile.

When using the basic version of Hud, only a mutual like can start a conversation. On the other hand, the premium version allows you to message anyone.

If you use the premium version, I recommend always sending a message, never only a "like." Women are bombarded with likes, so sending a message shows effort.

Hud offers a basic filtering tool that free users can access. You can change the age, distance, and who you are interested in (males, females, everyone, couples).

How do conversations work on Hud?

Once you and a woman mutually like each other, a conversation starts. The cool thing about Hud is the app offers you several features to communicate.

Obviously, you can send text messages on the app. You can also use audio messages, GIFs and attach photos in your conversation. Hud also has a video chat feature.

The good thing about Hud is the variety you get for conversations. To say you have options is an understatement.

Final Thoughts

There are things I like about Hud – the app is slick, modern, and responsive. I like the tools available for your conversations – video and voice messaging.

The app has a great design. Photo verification is awesome because you know a woman looks like her pictures.

The problem with Hud comes down to women. Are there women on Hud? No, there are not enough women on the app right now.

There are some women on Hud. Most are under 35 years old. Tack on the fact the app is best in a large city.

I tested Hud in San Diego, and attractive women are using it. Also, there were escorts and fakes as well. It can be hit or miss using this app, but the fact is, there are women on it. However, there are a lot more women in the Los Angeles area.

If you decide to check this out, I recommend using the free 7-day trial for the Premium Membership. You'll get access to everything and be able to make a decision after using it for a few days.

I would never use the premium version myself. It's too expensive, and there are not enough women to justify the cost.

Another problem is you don't know when women were last on the app. The app presents women in your feed randomly. The first woman could be 75 miles away and the next 10 miles away. I prefer the distance to be the main sorting mechanism on these types of apps.

As for other apps in this class, I think Pure is a better option. Yes, you must spend money on Pure, but there are many more women on Pure than Hud.

Right now, I recommend checking out Hud using the free 7-day trial. Make sure you sign up on a Thursday and use the app through the weekend. Women are most active on the weekends on apps like Hud.

I think Hud has the potential to grow. It's too new for me to recommend it outright, but it's worth checking out with the free 7-day trial.

I'll finish my review of the Hud app with this, as long as you go in with low expectations and use the free trial, it may work for you.

Ashley Madison is not a traditional data app; it's for people who are looking for "discreet relationships." Let's get this straight, this is not a hookup app. The women are looking for something outside their current relationship but not looking to sleep around.

Some women are single and want something of a casual nature. Also, there are couples looking for a third or another couple. The reality of the app is the majority of women are in relationships are married and seeking an affair.

How to register on Ashley Madison.

Joining Ashley Madison is similar to other dating apps. You enter your location, your email address, and go through setting up a profile.

It doesn't take long to join the app. I was able to register in a few minutes. Quick and easy, just the way I like it.

Is Ashley Madison free?

It's free to sign up and browse profiles. You can wink at women for free as well, but messaging women costs money... a lot of money.

There is no fixed membership cost for Ashley Madison. The pricing stature is based on credits. As you see below, the credits are pricey.

Once you have credits, you can spend them for sending messages to women. Sending a basic message to a woman costs 9 credits. You can upgrade your messages to a "priority message" at an added cost of 5 credits.

So, sending a priority message costs you 14 credits. You can see how this quickly adds up. If you purchase 100 credits, you can only message a handful of women. Thus, Ashley Madison becomes very expensive.

Women can send you a "collect" message. You need to spend credits to read them, however. And if you choose to respond, you'll need to spend the basic 9 credits to send a message back - plan on spending a lot of money here.

Ashley Madison has an app and a desktop version.

There are a desktop and app version for Ashley Madison. Both are simple and easy to use. There's not a lot of "fluff" or bells and whistles, making it an easy, non-confusing experience.

The interface is intuitive and won't take long to figure out for people who don't know their way around dating apps. Both the dating app and desktop version are fast and simple.

There is a menu on the top right that allows you to jump to your profile to edit it. You can also buy more credits, visit your inbox, and search women's profiles.

An issue I have is the settings are on the top left corner of the screen on both the app and desktop. I can't think of any dating apps that have settings on the top left and not right. It's not a huge issue, but it is odd.

How to set up your profile on Ashley Madison.

Setting up your profile on Ashley Madison is very similar to other apps. If you're new to setting up profiles, it's not that difficult. You don't have to write a bio nor add photos allowing you to remain anonymous.

Here are a few things you can do:

• Username - Create a unique username that women see when viewing your profile.
• Greeting - This is a headline which women see at the top of your bio. If you don't use photos, it will appear when women search profiles.
• Photo gallery - Add photos that are public (everyone can see) or private (require a key to view).
• Self-summary - The written section of your bio.
• Vitals - Profile traits (age, relationship status, body type, etc.).

The app also allows you to choose from preselected "interests" to connect with women. These include basic interests like traveling and wine and sexual ones such as "sex toys" and "kinky fun."

Ashley Madison offers "private photos," which enables you to be discreet. You don't have to show your photos to everyone, but it's a good idea to have at least one visible profile photo.

When using the private photos feature, women typically request a "private key" to see your photos. Likewise, you can do the same with women, requesting her key to see her hidden photos. 

Are there women on Ashley Madison?

The good news is there are a lot of women on this app. The majority of women on this app are over 35 years old. If you're looking for 25-year-old women, this isn't the place.

Since many women are not single, they may not respond as quickly as you would find on a traditional dating app. The main reason is they're involved already and take time to connect, so don't expect women to respond to your message instantly.

There is a wide range of women on the app - some are women whose partners have no idea they are on the app. Also, some women are in an open relationship and have permission from their partner. And there are single women as well, although not as many as women in relationships.

How to message women on Ashley Madison.

As mentioned above, you need to spend money to contact women. And it adds up quickly. Messaging women is simple. The site provides a message section on a woman's profile.

You should be selective when messaging women; otherwise, you will run out of credits quickly. After you match with a woman, the rest of your messages are free.

It costs 9 credits to send a basic first message to a woman. You can spend an extra 5 credits for your message to have a "priority message."  So, it can cost 14 credits to send a message. Ouch!

If there's one thing I want you to take away from this review, don't message every woman on the app. You'll break the bank doing that. Be selective. 

Turn off the "Priority Message" setting.

Ashley Madison defaults to the "priority message" option on both the app and desktop versions when you send a message. This means it costs 14 credits to send a message - all messages (not just your icebreakers).

You can change the default to a regular message. I advise you to do so otherwise, every message, not just your icebreakers, default to the more expensive option.

To turn off the priority message default, just go to your settings. It's at the bottom of the screen.

There is another way to reach out to women.

You can connect with women by sending a wink. This is a good way to save credits.

Winks are an efficient way to show interest in women, but they don't always work. Women are bombarded with winks, so it's a good idea to wink whomever you want, but send messages to the ones you really want to contact.

Messages are always better than winks, yet there's a cost. Again, be selective in who you message.

What are the features of Ashley Madison?

There's not a lot of bells and whistles on Ashley Madison. I like that you won't get lost in useless added on features.

It's pretty basic on Ashley Madison. You can do the following:

• Send a message to a woman. You can send a basic message (9 credits) or upgrade it to a priority message (14 credits).
• Create a personalized favorite list of women. 
• Send winks to women - these are free.
• Request a key to see a woman's hidden photos.

Ashley Madison delivers on what it sets out to do. It's an app for guys over 35 years old seeking "discreet" relationships with women who are also over 35. 

Make no mistake, you don't join Ashley Madison seeking a soulmate. Nor should you join if you're looking for instant hookups. The women on this app are typically seeking one guy to fill a void missing in their life.

There are a lot of women on this app. Most are married or in a relationship. Sure, some are single, but their numbers are small.

If you're comfortable seeing women who are married or in a relationship, then this is for you. Joining is free, so you can explore the app and see how many women are active in your area.

Keep in mind, this is a very expensive app. You're spending at least $60 for 100 credits. Take it from me, 100 credits doesn't go very far. Expect to spend at least $100 starting out.

What is the Down app?

Down claims, it's the "most honest" dating app to meet someone. The app lets women know you're looking for a casual relationship or a more serious one by how you swipe on a woman's profile.

Down is trying to be different than other swiping apps. Down believes it's healthier if you are up-front to women with what you want. Thus, allowing women to know if you're all about casual dating or want a relationship.

How to sign up for Down.

Is the Down app free?

Down offers a free version but allows you to view a handful of women. The app gives you 10 daily picks for free every 24 hours.

To make it clear, you don't get to "like" 10 women. You are only presented 10 women. So, if you see 10 women and like 1 of them, that's all you get until the next day. 

Down does offer a one-week free trial membership. I recommend checking out the app for a few days. If it's not to your liking, you can cancel your membership. 

How to set up your profile on Down.

To start swiping women's profiles, you only need to upload one photo. That's it. You can add more if you like, however.

Down allows you to add more than just one photo. You can add a bio as well. I recommend adding more pictures and write about yourself, so you stand out, especially if you want a relationship.

Down allows the following options for adding pictures to your profile:

• Importing pictures stored on your phone.
• Take a selfie on your phone.
• Use photos from Facebook
• Import photos from Instagram.

Women will see your name, age, location, and primary photo when browsing profiles. 

How does Down work?

Down offers a "tell it like it is" approach to meeting women on the app. Instead of swiping right or left to show interest like on Tinder, Down offers a different approach to let women know you're interested.

On Down, you swipe UP to show a woman you're interested in dating her. Swiping up tells a woman you're looking for more than a hookup. The app calls this a "Get Date" swipe.

You swipe DOWN to show a woman you are interested in casual dating or a hookup. It signifies you are looking for nothing serious. The app calls this a "Get Down" swipe.

You swipe right or left to skip to the next woman. When you swipe left, you skip that person entirely. You can change your mind later and revisit their profile and swipe up or down.

Down has a "crush" feature.

Women won't know you like them until they like you back. There's a way around this; the "crush" feature. Down claims using the crush increases your chance of matching with another user by 74%.

After you like a woman's profile, you can click on the "lips" when viewing her profile to send a crush. Down will send women a message to women letting them know you like them.

Down offers currency for this feature, coins. Each "crush" costs 1 coin. You can see how many coins you have in your profile settings.

Are there women on The Down dating app?

You will be happy to know there are women on the app. How many women use the app? I'm not sure, but with a paid membership, I swiped through all females in San Diego in minutes.

One thing nice about the app is that you can expand your search area. I am in San Diego and was able to change my city to Los Angeles.

You're not locked into your location because of your phone's GPS like Bumble or Tinder. Of course, the women will only see you if they change their location as well. You get around this using the "crush" feature I mentioned earlier.

I see a "red flag" with the Down app.

One issue is I have with Down is a handful of women who viewed my profile. To test this app, I swiped up and down on most women.

If Down supposedly has a large number of female users and a handful view my profile, this leads me to one of two conclusions. First, there are not many women actively using the app. You simply don't know how many active users there are in a given area.

The other possibility is there are a huge number of men using the app. Here's the key, if women use the free version and get only 10 views a day, the odds are against you that your profile gets views.

A way around this is using the "supercharge" feature. This functions as a boost putting your profile at the top of the queue.

I signed up for the supercharge feature and saw no improvement in my results. I didn't get an increase in profile views. I recommend avoiding this feature.

What preferences are available on Down?

Down allows you to change the age range for what you're seeking. That's it. There's no maximum distance allowing you to specify a mile radius like on Tinder. 

I think a lack of preferences is fine if you're looking for a hookup, but if you want a relationship, you can't filter on height, body type, kids, social drinker, pets, etc.

Adultfriendfinder is a casual sex site. You can find all sorts of lifestyle choices on it. Hookups, couples looking for a 3rd, polygamy, fuck buddies, monogamous relationships, women looking for discreet relationships, couple swaps, and much more.

AdultFriendFinder is one of the largest casual dating sites in the world, having over 80 million members worldwide. Half of the members are between 25-44 years old, and most are looking for casual fun.

That being said, if you are looking for a long-term relationship, this is not the site for you.

The site is free to join, and you can browse profiles, but if you want to contact female members, you have to upgrade your account to a Gold membership. And it's not cheap.

An upgraded account, known as a "Gold membership," allows you to send and receive messages, use the instant chat feature, and other exclusive feature only for its premium user.

Below is a list of what features are available for each membership on AdultFriendFinder. The "Gold" is the paid membership while "Standard" is the free membership.

Basically, if you want to chat or message women, you need to pay for the Gold membership.

Creating a profile on AdultFriendFinder is similar to dating apps, but does have a few differences. Here is a breakdown of your profile on the app.

• Photos - Load photos other members can browse.
• Videos - Upload videos members can view for free.

There are other features for your profile. You can create a blog on your profile. This allows you to share your journey, experiences, and whatever else you want with other members.

You can verify yourself, as well. Verifying your bio shows other members you aren't fake or a scammer. This is really for women more than men as there are fake profiles on this site.

There's a lot more you can do with your profile as well; edit a long list of preferences, a headline, add friends (like Facebook), add kinks, have female fans, etc.  

You can leave your profile blank without pictures if you want to browse as well. So, AdultFriendFinder allows you to keep anonymity if you desire.

AdultFriendFinder offers a desktop version and an app.

AdultFriendFinder has an app as well as a desktop version. I must warn you, both versions need an upgrade.

Let's start with the app. To use it, you must disable your security on your phone. It amazes me that you have to do this in this day and age.

I've tested every dating app, and this is the only one where I changed security settings to use it. So keep that in mind.

As for the app itself, it's occasionally buggy. It didn't always scroll for me and froze a few times. I had to stop the app and restart it for it to work from time to time.

AdultFriendFinder's app is not nearly as responsive as other hookup apps such as Pure or Wild. There are no notification settings to inform you that you receive a new message. You either have to check your email (the app does send a message to your email) or check the app itself.

The app has limited features compared to the desktop, but the basics are there. And that's all I care about when looking at this app. Can I view profiles and messages or chat with women? You can do these with the app.

There's also a desktop version available. The desktop version is outdated. It looks like a website from 2002 and looks bland.

The response time also lags. I find the app is faster. When I want to navigate on the site using the desktop version, there is a very noticeable lag.

Don't get me wrong, both versions of the site are serviceable. They just aren't as good as other hookup apps. The site just doesn't feel "modern," but then again, it may not matter if you're just looking to hook up.

What are the features of AdultFriendFinder?

To say you have options on AdultFriendFinder is an understatement. Good grief. There's a lot here on the site.

You can communicate with other members in several ways. Here are some of the things you can do on this site:

• Message women directly.
• Instant message chat.
• Instant message chat with video.
• Instant message chat with audio.
• Watch live videos of other members.
• Add your own blog post.
• Have a friend's list.
• Broadcast your own videos.
• Watch live webcams of other members.

Yeah, you got tons of options on this app. It literally has everything you could want in a hookup app.

If you're looking to meet women, though, you're going to focus on messaging and instant messaging. So, you're covered. 

AdultFriendFinder has a flexible search filter.

There is no swiping, likes, or matching algorithm on AdultFriendFinder. It's about searching for what you want.

Sure, some women will contact you first, but ideally, you should seek out the women you're interested in. Make a move and send a message.

Luckily, AdultFriendFinder offers you a very flexible search tool. No other hookup app, let alone dating app, has this range of options.

You have the basics: Body type, sexual orientation, education, religious beliefs, etc.

AFF goes above and beyond with what you're into. You can search based on a woman's hair length, her breast size, and how she swings. It can even search for a woman's Chinese Zodiac Sign.

You can easily zero down what you want using the search tool to find what you want.

I'm happy to report there are a lot of active female users on the app. Out of all the "hookup" apps I've researched, AdultFriendFinder has the most women on it for women over 25 years old.

However, it's not all roses. Men far outnumber women on this app. The competition is fierce, looking for women. But you can certainly succeed with some effort.

There are fakes and escorts on AdultFriendFinder.

During my testing of the app, I was contacted by a few fakes and bots. It's easy to recognize them as they almost always want you to jump off the app via your email or chat ID, as in the screenshot below.

There are also women seeking compensation for their time. They typically ask for "roses" or "donations" in their bio's but will ask outright in their messages with you as well.

It's not free. And it's kind of expensive. The good news is you can find discounts online or contact them directly for a cheaper rate.

Another issue is there are a ton of men on this site. So, you'll have a lot of competition vying for women's attention.

I absolutely HATE the design of the desktop version. It's garbage. It's serviceable, but come on, it feels like It's from the early 2000s. The desktop version is noticeably slow.

The app is better than the desktop version but not as responsive as say Wild or Pure. The app also doesn't have all the features as the desktop, so keep that in mind. They need to upgrade this as well.

Wild is an app that focuses on casual romances, hookups, and FWB relationships. Is Wild the best app for meeting women for hookups? The answer is no.

There are some positives and negatives for Wild. Let's dive into my review of the Wild hookup app.

What is Wild?

Wild claims it's the "fast-growing hookup app for adults seeking casual encounters, FWB and relationships." Wild is accessible by a mobile app and desktop version.

After using both versions, the app superior to the desktop version by a wide margin. If you check out Wild, avoid the desktop as it's outdated and a little clunky.

One peculiar thing is the app and desktop version offer different features. For example, the "super like" feature is available only on the desktop version of Wild while the app offers boosts.

How Wild works.

You can like as many women as you want. There's no daily limit to likes, which you find on Tinder and Hinge. However, you are limited to the number of "super likes" you can give women.

Standard members can send one free super like per day, while VIP members can send five super likes.

If you like a woman and she likes you back, you get a match. When you both like each other, it's known as a "mutual like." Once a mutual like happens, you can message each other free.

As I mentioned above, the "super like" feature is only available on the desktop version of Wild. You won't see it on the mobile app.

How to set up your bio on Wild.

Setting up your bio on Wild is short. You can literally set it up in one minute. It's simple and intuitive. You must load at least one photo to use the app.

Wild also requires at least ten characters in your written "about me" section. It's always a good idea to include a few sentences about yourself anyway. It helps your bio stand out.

For your pictures, Wild offers public and private photo options. Anyone can see your public photos while women you match with can see your private photos.

Wild has settings for your bio in the "Details" section where you update your birthday, height, relationships setting, ethnicity, etc. These settings are visible on your bio for women who browse profiles.

Wild has a cool feature where you can choose up to 10 predetermined interests that are displayed on your bio. The apps are generic and include "music," "sex," "gym," "BBQ's," and "tattoos," to name a few. Displaying a few interests allows you to list things that are part of your lifestyle and important to you.

You can verify yourself on Wild.

One key thing Wild offers is photo verification. It's a great idea to verify your photo because women will know your photo is current. You may see a boost in messages if you verify yourself.

It's easy to verify yourself on Wild. You take a selfie on the app. Then the app will submit it for approval. Once approved, your bio gets a badge, like the photo below.

Is Wild free?

Wild is free to sign up and create your bio. You can freely like women, but can chat only with women who like you back.

Similar to Tinder, you cannot message women until you both mutually like each other. If you want to message women without a mutual like, you'll need a VIP account.

What comes with VIP features on Wild.

Wild offers a standard membership, which is free, and a premium membership called a VIP membership. Here are a few benefits of the VIP membership:

• VIP members can send 5 super likes per day as opposed to 1, which standard members get.
• VIP members can send up to 5 notes daily to women. Standard members cannot send notes unless they mutually like each other.

You can earn free VIP credits on Wild.

You can earn a free VIP membership for a week if you complete specific tasks on Wild. After accumulating 350 credits, you get seven days VIP access for free. Below are the tasks you must complete to earn the free VIP.

Wild's messages are  known as "notes."

Notes are the term for messages on Wild. With a standard membership, you can swap notes with a woman when you like each other. With a VIP membership, you can send 5 notes per day, regardless if the women like you or not.

As of my testing, you can only send up to 200 characters in your message. You cannot attach photos or emojis to your notes, either. Notes are just swapping messages.

Wild offers Boosts

You can boost your profile on WILD. A boost puts your profile at the top of women's searches for 3 hours. Of course, there's a cost for using Boost on Wild.

Boosts don't appear to be available on the desktop version. You can only use the boost feature on the mobile app. Here is the breakdown of costs for boosts on Wild:

Are there women on Wild?

I am happy to tell you there are women on Wild. Not a lot, but there are some. Compared to traditional dating apps such as Tinder and Bumble, Wild is a barren wasteland.

When you compare Wild with hookup apps like Pure and CasualX, I find Wild has more members. The problem is you don't know if the women were using the app recently or weeks ago.

For example, Pure only shows you women online when you're online.  Wild has the option to see women in the following time frames:

• Last 7 days
• Last 20 days
• Last 45 days

The problem I find is that when I choose "last 7 days," the amount of women I see is zero. I live in San Diego, and there are not many active women on the app.

If I change the settings to Los Angeles and Orange County, there are a lot more females on the app. I also notice there are a lot of younger women on the app, under 30 years old. 

As with all hookup apps, there are escorts. A lot of them. These women generally tell you they charge money in their bios.

How to cancel your subscription on Wild.

Canceling your subscription is simple. If you subscribed using your Apple ID, go to your iTunes account settings and cancel your subscription.

If you subscribe through Google Play Store, open your subscriptions and cancel it. Pay attention because once you sign up, you enroll in auto-pay, so it's important to turn it off.

Wild Hookup App Review - Final Thoughts

Wild is for hookups. If you're looking for casual dating, there are better options; Tinder, Bumble, and Facebook Dating. There are some women on the app who look for "long-term" and "chatting," but most are seeking casual romances.

For pure hooking up, there are a handful of apps. Adultfriendfinder, CasualX, and Pure come to mind. The problem I find with these apps is there are only a handful of women using them in Southern California.

Men far outnumber women on these hookup apps. I asked the woman below how many men contact her, and she responds in a short time on the app, over 1000 men liked her profile.

What's good about Wild.

Wild has a quick set up time; one photo and a short sentence in your bio, and you're off to the races. The app is free to sign up and browse profiles, and you can swap messages with a woman when you both like each other.

I love that Wild uses photo verification. It ensures the woman you talk to looks like her picture. Photo verification also helps you because women are more likely to contact men who verify their pictures.

The messaging is slick and easy. It's responsive, and I didn't notice any delays. It's cool you can earn a free week's VIP membership just by using the app.

With Wild, you know women are primarily there for a hookup. There also is a larger number of women under 30 years old on the app, so if you're young, the odds are more in your favor.

Wild rewards you for using the app daily. Each time you log in, you get credits. Once you reach 350 credits, you earn a free 7-day VIP membership. This is a fantastic bonus for using the app.

What's bad about Wild.

The biggest issue with Wild is the lack of women and the cost. You can use it for free, but to chat with a woman, you must mutually like each other. And since men outnumber women by a huge margin, it's challenging to grab a woman's attention with a simple like.

I wouldn't recommend relying on this app if you plan on using the free features.

I dislike that I can only send five messages a day with a premium VIP membership. That is mind-boggling. The app doesn't explain the reasoning for this. If I spend $30 a month for an app, I prefer having the ability to send messages to whomever and whenever I want.

The desktop version needs an overhaul. It's outdated and cumbersome. I also encountered escorts on the app. Escorts are something you will always encounter on hookup apps.

Casualx is a mobile-only app. You'll be happy to know there are women on this app, and yes, they are looking for a casual relationship. The question is, how good is the app for men?

Let's dive into my Casualx dating app review; how it works, the cost, the features, the good and the bad.

You can create your profile for free on Casualx. You can search for women too. When you mutually like someone, you can message them for free.

• Gender setting - You may select from a serious of options about yourself, including; "female," "male," "couple (FM)," "couple (FF)," and "couple (MM)."
• Fill your settings (optional) - The settings include ethnicity and religion.

The set up for your bio is fast. You aren't required to load a single photo so you could put zero effort into your profile and start browsing women's profiles.

One cool feature on Casualx is photo verification allowing you to verify you look like your photos. I recommend verifying your photos regardless of the app you're on because it can boost your results.

How to meet women on Casualx

Searching for women on Casualx is straightforward.  The search filter is basic, allowing these options:

• Age range.
• Location.
• Sorting by last online, newest, or distance.
• Show profiles that have photos.

The app has very few bells and whistles, which is fine. My only gripe is I wish it showed when women were online last. There's no way of knowing if a woman was online today or a month ago.

Once you start browsing profiles, you'll quickly notice most women don't have a profile photo. The app lets you click on their profile photo, sending them a request indicating you want to see a picture, though.

This is problematic because you will spend a lot of time reaching out to women you may not be physically attracted to.

Messaging women on CAsualX

Messaging on Casualx feels similar to other apps. You see a woman you like, you click on the "message" button, and you're off to the races. 

The messaging on Casualx is intuitive and easy to use. You can also send photos from your phone, or take photos and send them in your message as well.

One great thing about the chat tool on Casualx is you can look at the woman's bio with a click in your chat window. Yep, you can toggle between your message and a woman's profile while chatting. I wish more apps had this feature. 

In case you're curious, there are indeed women on the app. I recommend asking women, "what are you looking," so you know they're on the same page.

Unfortunately, there are some escorts on Casualx

As with all dating apps, some women are looking for money for sex on Casualx. I didn't encounter many, but they are there.

Some women will write on their profile they seek payments while others only tell you after a conversation is started.

What is the Random Match feature?

Casualx gives you one match randomly every day. You can chat with your random match for free, so a mutual like isn't required.

My issue with the Random Match feature is it matches you with women who are nowhere near your location and possibly outside your age range. I was routinely matched with women hundreds of miles away who were much younger than my preferred age requirement.

The random match feature seems more like a chat tool than a way to meet women. I recommend avoiding and focus on meeting women with the search filter on the app.

The "Meet" feature on Casualx

Casualx has a feature called "meet" where the app presents you with random women which you can do the following:

• Click the green "X" for a no.
• Click the red "checkmark" for a yes.
• Click the gold start to send an "extra like."

You can also message women directly from this feature. You can also swipe left or right on profiles in a similar fashion as Tinder.

One thing I noticed is the Meet feature would present me, women, I already sent messages to. It doesn't make sense to match me with women I already liked and sent messages to.

Also, the feature doesn't take into consideration you're preferences. It matches you with women who are outside your age and distance requirements. I was routinely matched with 20-year-old girls hundreds of miles away.

What's good about Casualx

There are some things on this app that may appeal to some people. It has a very quick set up time. The messaging is basic and direct. There's no add on "coins," "boosts," or nonsense to get more money from you.

This is all about messaging women and taking it from there. I like that there are no added money-grubbing frills on this app.

If you're into more than women, this app has that for you. It has couples of all genders; male and female couples looking for a male as well as female couples looking for a man.

What's bad about Casualx

Even though Casualx has some good things going for it, I have a lot of issues with this app. Forget the lack of women; the cost is too much for what you get, or should I say what you don't get.

Another problem with the app is the search feature. You can sort by last online, but it doesn't tell you how long ago the women were online.

Was the woman you're interested in on the app within the last 24 hours? The last week? Month? Is she online now? You have no idea.

I know what the app is doing, presenting as many females as possible to get men to sign up. But it's not cool to hide when the women were last online. 

It's impossible to gauge how many active women are in your area. I can search through a ton of female profiles, but I have no idea the last time they were on the app, or if they are active members.

Also, the app has a ton of features with zero explanation. The online help is non-existent.

For example, you can "extra like" a woman. I had no idea what this means or how to "extra like" women until I stumbled on it while testing the app (It's part of the Meet feature). 

Yes, there are women on this app, but not enough to justify the cost. The quick set up time and easy messaging are great. However, since there are so few women, I cannot recommend Casualx as a way for men to find a casual relationship.

Pure Dating App Review - A Decent App For Hook Ups.

Pure is accessible from your phone or computer

You can visit the Pure website so you can download the app to your phone. Pure recently released a desktop version giving you more ways to meet women.

You can access Pure at the Google Play Store, iTunes or the desktop version here.

How does Pure work?

Pure is all about the now! Quick conversations and quick meetups. Pure uses your GPS to find women near you.  

Pure works "on demand," meaning you will see, and your photo showed, to women who are online when you are. You photo is never seen by women who are "offline," nor are you able to contact women "offline" as you can on other dating sites.

Once you click the "Post for 1 hour" button on your profile, your photo is presented to women online in your area for 60 minutes. A countdown begins, and once the hour runs out, you are no longer shown to women who are online. 

When you're photo is active, you can see photos of women in your area, online right now. If you’re interested in someone, hit and the woman is notified of your interest, and if it's mutual (she likes you back), a chat window will open up for the two of you.

Once you're "matched" up, you get a 24-hour timer. So, you have 24 hours minutes to arrange a meeting. One day is more than enough time to meet a woman on pure.

When your 24-hour countdown ends, your photo is no longer shown to women online. However, you may continue conversations with women currently you're chatting with, but (and this is important), when you decide to renew your hour so women can see you online, all messages between you and any women are deleted.

How much does Pure cost?

Pure is not a free app; you have to pay to meet women. You can download the app for free, but won't have your photo presented to women without a paid membership.

The cost for a Pure App membership is broken down into different subscriptions. If you access on your phone, you're given the options below:

1. One week subscription: $10.99
2. One month subscription: $21.99
3. Three-month subscription: $43.99
4. One year subscription: $54.99

There is a desktop version of Pure as well. Here's the cost breakdown of the subscription on the desktop version:

1. Three days subscription: $1.95 (This is no longer offered; bring it back please!)
2. One week subscription: $9.99
3. One month subscription: $19.99
4. Six months subscription: $39.99

I was able to access the app while paying the desktop version, so I'm not sure why there are two different pricing structures. I'll update this section if they change this, but for now, your best option is to pay via the web if you plan on using it for a month.

Pure tacks on extra costs.

Every dating app that charges a monthly fee had other features you can use for an additional cost. The Pure dating app is no different.

Pure offers a feature called Instant Chat. Usually, a conversation starts when you like a woman, and she likes you back. However, you can pay a fee to start chatting without waiting for a mutual like (a woman liking you back).

When you do sign up for Instant Chat, the woman receives a notification and can see your message. Note, the fee is per chat, meaning you cannot pay for this feature and use it with all women.

Another feature Pure offers, is King of the Hill. King of the Hill puts your bio ahead of all the other guys, so women see it first.

Of course, you must pay money to use this feature. It's $1.99 and not worth it.

Pure now has a 24 hour time limit on conversations.

Recently, Pure went from giving you 60 minutes to 24 hours to chat with a woman you connect with. This is a much-needed change.

A 60-minute time limit was too slow, so I like the new 24-hour format. All chats disappear when your 24 hours are up or if you start a new session during a current session.

Pay attention because if your timer is winding down. If you decide to start a new session, you lose all open conversations when you restart a new session.

Pure message tip - Immediately turn off the timer.

You can turn off the 24-hour chat timer on Pure by clicking the "self-destruct" timer. It's the icon in the top right-hand corner of your chat screen.

Simply tap the collar icon. If the woman turns it off, you can chat for as long as you like.

Are there women on Pure? The answer is YES!

You will be happy to know there are indeed, women on Pure. I did an overview of Pure in 2018 and found there were a handful of women on it, but now (several months later) there are more female members. It seems more women are discovering Pure.

I had several women start conversations with me. And these are real women who are not bots or hookers (more on that below).

It's a good idea to ask women what they are looking for on Pure which ensures you're on the same page. The women below did not hesitate to tell me what they wanted out of Pure.  And by the way, "fun" means sex.

It was at this point I discovered a huge problem with Pure; there aren't many women near me. I am in San Diego and was routinely matched up with women hundreds of miles away, some as far north as San Francisco.

It appears more of the women on Pure live in Los Angeles. I was able to talk to several women around the LA area, so if you're in Los Angeles, you'll have options. 

Beware of fake profiles and hookers

As with any dating site, there are fakes, bots, and hookers. Whereas on Zoosk or POF, you may encounter an occasional fake bot, on Pure it seems as if every other female is a fake.

Here are a couple of examples of fake female profiles. Any woman who sends you a message containing a URL is not a woman.

And, of course, you will encounter women who are looking for money. Below are examples I quickly found.

In all my experiences on dating sites, Pure has the most hookers, and it's not even close. I find POF has the most fake bots (especially at night), but Pure is hands down #1 for women who will have sex with you for money.  

If you use Pure, be sure to ask women what they are looking for before wasting your time (unless that's what you want). I found women who want money will tell you directly when asked, "what are you looking for?"

Pure offers in-chat scam notifications

Pure has a list of "trigger" words that scammers often use in their chats. If a woman uses one of these words, Pure will send you an alert. You will see a message warning you to be cautious.

The warning message doesn't mean that the woman is a scammer, but you should think twice if you're going to share personal information with her. Scammers typically try and get you off the app quickly.

How far away does Pure match you with women?

Pure searches for women who are up to 1000 km away. That's right, 1000 km, which is over 621 miles. I live in San Diego and was matched up with women in San Francisco, Arizona, Nevada, and once in Cleveland, Ohio. Yep, Ohio which is over 2000 miles away (the map on the app confirmed that's where she lived).

The app has technical issues which drive me bonkers!

A huge issue I have with Pure is that it is very glitchy. The app can hang on you as it's searching for females or accessing your account.

It's more of an issue if I'm not accessing the internet on my WiFi. You better hope and pray you don't have issues if you're not accessing the app through a WiFi connection.

The app kicks me off continuously, forcing me to resubmit my email address to sign back on. The problem happens often, but seemingly more when not connected to WiFi.

Here's the kicker, the app locks you out if you keep logging in due to their "login attempt limit." This issue of locking me out, through no fault of my own, drives me nuts! The app's technical issues can prevent you from accessing it, which is frustrating when you get locked out on a night where women are active.

The app also seems to have an issue with using the desktop version while also on the phone app at the same time. No other dating apps has a problem with accessing it on two different platforms at the same time, as Pure does.

If I log onto Pure through my phone, it kicks me out of the desktop app. I can deal with this; however, as I mentioned above, the app is glitchy, and if it kicks me out on the phone, and I log in on my desktop, I may lock myself out of the app.

I have an android phone, so maybe that's the issue. However, I am constantly testing several dating apps at the same time, and don't have any problem with other apps.

Final Thoughts

Depending on where you live, Pure may be a pure waste of time. I first looked at this app in 2018 and didn't like it. I gave the app a very low score.

There are more and more women using this app these days. It seems the majority of women are under 30 years old. There are women over 30 years old, but not as many.

The app has more women these days than it did in 2018. It seems there are more women in large cities. I'm giving you a heads up that you may find little to no women if you live in a small city.

The app still has issues it needs to work out. My biggest gripe is the women are shows online.

I live in San Diego with thousands of women locally. I am routinely matched up with women in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Fresno, Arizona, New Mexico, and even Cleveland (yep, Cleveland!), all hundreds of miles away.

Pure offers no free membership nor trial membership. If you want to check it out, you need to spend money.

At one time, Pure offered a $1.95 trial run for 3 days but took it away. I'd give this app a higher rating if they still offered it. So, your cheapest option is the $10 rate for a week.

The selling point of Pure is it's a quick way for casual hookups. Full disclosure: I had no intention of meeting anyone but wanted to see if the app does what it advertises, and it does somewhat.

The good news is that there are women on Pure. The bad news is there are a ton of men. There is a lot of competition, so keep that in mind.

Women are most active on the weekends. Your best chances of meeting someone are on a Friday or Saturday night. The later the time, the more women are using the app.

This app is definitely growing in popularity. More and more women are using it, so I recommend checking it out if you're looking for a hookup.

Keep in mind, it's best for men under 35 who live in a large city. If you spend money and there are no women near you, you'll feel ripped off. But that's why this app is high risk, high reward.
