How often should you update your dating profile?
Update your dating profile at least once a month; ideally once a week. The benefit of updating your bio is it keeps your profile fresh. Some experts believe dating apps reward you for keeping it fresh, possibly presenting your bio above others.
Most men create their profile and leave it as-is; never changing it or updating it. Their profile sits and collects dust. Do not let your profile remain fixed; you want to keep it from getting stale.
Even if you're doing OK on dating apps, it's in your best interest to change your profile from time to time. You need to update your bio if you don't see the results you want.

Why you should update in your dating profile.
The primary reason you should update your profile consistently is that it keeps your bio current and women who ignored you in the past may contact you or swipe right after reading your revised bio.
Some dating apps present you to women based on what you write in your bio. Eharmony, Match, and OkCupid are prime examples. The sites scan your bio for words to find matches; hiking, wine, dogs, traveling, camping, the beach, etc.
Nobody knows how these dating algorithm's work, but one thing is for sure; dating apps show your profile to women based on what's in your bio. It's important to swap things out because of this.
Below is an example from OkCupid. Note how it presents men to women based on keywords in their bio; in this case, the word "biking." It's features like this which you want to use to your advantage by updating your profile occasionally.
You have nothing to lose changing your profile from time to time. The most significant benefit is you may get a message from a woman who overlooked you in the past.
What do you update in your profile?
What should you change on your dating profile? It can be as simple as reordering your photos, adding new pictures, or mixing things up in your self-summary.
You don't need to rewrite your bio, but swap out things you're doing at the moment. Maybe you're taking a cooking class; add a photo of yourself in it.
Maybe you recently found a great restaurant; mention it in your bio like I said how I found the best margaritas in San Diego. You see below a woman commented on seeing this in my bio.
Are you currently binge-watching a new show on Netflix? Write about it in your bio. You may catch the eye of a woman who is now watching it or thinking of watching it.
Make sure everything is current.
Your photos must be in line with the current time of the year. For example, maybe you enjoy snowboarding. Great. Add a photo on the slopes during the winter, but remove them when winter is over. There's no need to have pictures of yourself in the snow during the summer.
I also see guys use photos often when they're in front of a movie display at a motive theater. It's not impressive having a photo of yourself in front of the Avengers display when the movie came out last year.
Also, using photos standing next to old movie displays shows just that; your photos are old. Seeing one outdated picture may make women think, "are all his photos current?" The last thing you want it to raise a woman's suspicion that your photos are old.
Lastly, let's discuss using Halloween photos on your profile. I'm very anti-Halloween photos because they typically hide your face, so use them at your own risk.
If you choose to use a Halloween photo, make sure you use it within a week of Halloween. You shouldn't have Halloween photos up in April.
Final Thoughts
Update your dating profile at least once a month. I recommend doing it weekly to increase your appeal with women.
It doesn't take much time to swap out a few photos or add a couple of sentences for some recent adventure or accomplishment.
