Avoid using sexual words (hook up, NSA, DTF, etc.) because Craigslist will quickly flag them. "Fun" and "good time" are better options.
Asking a question is good as it speaks to women browsing the site - examples include "Need a release?", "Looking for me?" or "Are you deprived?"

Creating your description

Now it's time for your write description. Here are tips for this section of your post:

Short and simple is key - the more information you write, the more likely Craigslist will flag you.
Avoid describing your body features.
Similar to the headline, keep sexual words out of your description.
Write enough to pique a woman's interest.
Innuendos are effective as well.

Examples I've tested include "Male seeking a female" or "Guy here. Seeking a woman for tonight." Yes, that's all you need.

I always keep the post description as short as possible because it maximizes the potential of matches. Your goal is to get a response - weed out what you don't want from the responses you receive.

4. Wait for responses and find a match!

Hopefully, you'll get responses to your ad once it's posted. You could get several responses, or a handful - this depends on the ad, the number of women viewing your post, the timing, and your location.

I've tested in several cities across the United States. Sometimes I get a lot of responses, while others, a handful.

It may come to the point where you post an ad, and Craigslist flags it instantly. When this happens, start over - create a new email and use a different description in your post.

You're fighting against time - meaning Craigslist will flag your ad at some point. It's inevitable. But if your ad is up long enough, you'll connect with multiple potential hookups.

Humor is subjective - 100% of women won't find your profile. One prompt should focus on humor, and the other two should be a little more serious.

Clear photos are crucial - no grainy pictures. Avoid dimly lit photos as well.

Part 1. Write about yourself. In this section, choose a few words that accurately describe yourself - no need to be shy here.

I start with the word "You." The word "you" is a powerful way to connect with a woman reading your profile.

You want a username that stands out. Put some effort into it - men typically use random numbers and letters.

Anything goes for your username. Sandwich two words together, "DapperHiker." You can rhyme your name with something, "DanTheMan.

Anything is better than jumbled letters and numbers that are meaningless. "CharmingFella" will get more attention than "R70XXYZabd".

Including 3-5 of your passions, interests, hobbies, goals, and achievements is best for this profile section. Don't just list them - describe why you enjoy them.

For example, if you live an active lifestyle, don't just write, "I like working out." That is boring and not engaging

I write in my bio, "I live an active lifestyle. I work out daily because it keeps me balanced and maintains my youthful loo. I love boxing workouts, hikes followed by fish tacos, HIIT routines, and random YouTube workouts. Even a walk in the park or around Miramar Lake is good because it gets the juices flowing."

It's easy to write a description like the one above. Let's say you enjoy traveling. Simply answer one, two, or all three of these questions:

Answer "How" - Give an example of "how" you like to travel.
Answer "What" - Share "what" you like about traveling.
Answer "Why" - Explain "why" you enjoy traveling.

Answering the questions above should make writing about a topic easier. Choose a few topics and expand into them as I do above.

My rule for dating apps is simple; use everything you can to your advantage. Below is a list of the features POF offers and why you should use them.

Don't state the obvious. For example, when using a group photo, don't write "my friends and me" or "we had a great time." Instead, insert some humor and write, "Clearly, I'm the best looking of the group."

You can connect with upgraded members. Some women only allow upgraded members to message them. I find attractive women use this feature, so you're out in the cold if you use the free version of POF.
Unlimited messages and "likes." The free version of POF gives you a daily limit for likes and messages. This premium feature gives you complete freedom to message anyone.

POF also gives you additional features that I don't think are as important as the ones above. I explain why below.

You can upload not just 8, but 16 images to your dating profile. Honestly, you don't need more than 8 photos. 16 pictures are overkill.
Send three gifts per day. My advice - never send a gift. A great icebreaker is all you need.
Stand out in all searches. POF doesn't explain how you stand out, so I don't see the benefit of this feature.
Access to Username Search. This is a nice addition, but you can already see who likes and views your profile.

The free version of POF hides who likes you.

Imaginary name - This is essentially a username. Creating a username is a requirement when joining the app.
Sexuality - Set your sexuality - straight, gay, pansexual, asexual, etc. Feeld offers several options.
Bio - Write about yourself to grab women's attention. Feeld gives you 1500 characters to write your bio - more than enough room to showcase your lifestyle.
Desires - You can share up to 10 desires on your bio. The app allows you to type these in.
Interests - Share up to 10 interests in your profile. You can type whatever you want in this section.
Incognito - A special mode where you can hide your profile until you like someone first. Incognito is a premium feature (see the previous section).
Show me on Feeld - Essentially, hides your profile from everyone using the app.

You can also create a group chat with several people that functions similar to a conference call. The group chat allows you to connect with groups of people you match up with on the app.

You may encounter fake profiles on Feeld. They are easy to spot. After matching with you, they typically will attempt to get you off the app quickly (see below), so pay attention.

When looking at apps, I ask two questions: 1) Are there women on the app, and 2) Does the app deliver on its promise? Here are the answers to my Feeld dating app review:

1. Are women on the Feeld app? Yes, there are enough female members to justify joining it. There are women of all ages using the app - from 20-somethings to women in their 40s and beyond.

Note - there are a lot of couples on the app seeking a third. Most are seeking a female, but some are searching for men.

2. Does Feeld deliver on its promise? Feeld is worth exploring because of the number of women using it. The free version is a solid choice to test the app and see if it's for you.

Final Thoughts

Feeld is a solid choice if you're looking to meet open-minded women (and couples). I'm surprised at the number of women exploring various kinks on Feeld.

There's a great mix of women on Feeld. You'll find women in their early 20's up to 50's and beyond. I can't recall an app in this class with such a wide range of female users.

You can get good results using the free version of Feeld, but I recommend the Majestic (premium) membership. The Majestic membership is only 10.99, which is very low for a monthly membership in this app class.

The app is simple, easy to jump into, and has a pleasant feel. There are no bells and whistles to get lost in with the app.

Feeld allows you to create a large profile which is great. You can showcase your kinks/interests in your profile. I encourage you to put effort into your bio - women are more likely to connect with you.

Sending messages on Feeld will feel familiar to anyone who uses an app. I like that the app allows you to share photos in a conversation.

I encountered a few issues using Feeld; mainly, the app doesn't refresh active users. I either changed a filter setting or shut the app down and restarted to see women actively using the app in Discover.

Feeld may be confusing if you're not familiar with the volume of terms these days. Many women and couples use terms in their profiles that may require you to Google.

Also, there are a lot of couples using this app. I'm not joking! If you're a guy looking to find a couple, this app is for you.

If you're looking for a hookup app, there are better options. I recommend Pure and Adultfriendinfer for over Feeld (see my reviews above).

Timing is everything for your ad.

As I mentioned above, your Craigslist Personals ad will be flagged for removal at some point (unless you delete it yourself). It's critical to post an ad when it's more likely to be viewed by women.

The best time to post on Craigslist is evenings, especially Friday and Saturday nights. Posting during the afternoon on the weekend is OK, but an ad is more effective on weekend evenings.

You want as many eyes as possible on your ad if you want to meet women. Not too many women are browsing Craigslist on a Tuesday at 1 PM.

Everything starts with a good headline.

Savvy marketers know it's all about the headline. If you can't grab a person's attention, they will lose interest, and the marketer is unlikely to make a sale.
