The Best Tips For Men On The Pure App
The best tips for the Pure dating app include using the instant chat feature, writing a great bio, and turning off the chat timer. Since Pure is more of a hookup app, first impressions are everything.
There's a lot of completion for a woman's attention on Pure. You must do everything possible to gain an advantage; otherwise, you're wasting your time.
This post shares the 5 best tips for men using the Pure app. Read the tips below if you're new to the app, want to do better, or increase matches.
For an overview of Pure itself, check out my blog post, How To Use The Pure Hookup App To Meet Women.
1. Use the Instant Chat feature.
On Pure, a conversation only happens when you and a woman mutually like each other. You must match up before chatting.
Pure is essentially Tinder for matching with women. You like a woman and wait for her to like you back. A great way around this is the "instant chat" feature which instantly starts a conversation.
I recommend the Instant Chat feature because it allows you to send a message instead of just a "like." A good opening message is a better first impression than a "like."
Instant Chat comes with a price, though. Below you see the cost. So, make your opening message count.
Using Instant Chat is high-risk but high-reward. You're spending money with the feature, and it doesn't always work. But the possibility of starting a conversation with a woman is worth the cost, in my opinion
I never recommend add-on features dating apps when paying a premium membership. Instant Chat is an exception - it's worth the cost because it instantly starts a conversation with a woman.
2. Write a great bio.
Because Pure is a hookup app, it doesn't mean you shouldn't write a bio, though. A great bio will help you stand out.
The right words are effective at getting "likes" from women. You can be short and to the point or a little more descriptive. Below is an example of a bio I tested.
Avoid writing things such as how hung you are or what you'll do to a woman in bed. Don't be a comedian either and use too much humor.
Instead, write about yourself and include what you want in a partner. Note how my bio above shows confidence.
3. Turn off the chat timer!
Once you match up with a woman on Pure, the app gives you a 24-hour timer. Once the timer expires, the conversation expires. That's it - game over!
Once a conversation expires, there's no going back. Anything you've shared and written with a woman is gone forever.
You can get around by turning off the chat timer. I recommend disabling the timer as soon as possible - not all women are active on the app.
For example, you match with a woman who is using Pure out of curiosity on a Friday night. Maybe she jumps off and checks back Sunday, two days later. Well, the app will time out your conversation because it's more than 24 hours.
Make sure your conversation doesn't end. After swapping a few messages with a woman, tell her to turn the timer off.
4. Be direct with women.
It pays to be direct with what you're looking for on Pure. When I connect with a woman, the first thing I ask her is, "Where are you located? What are you looking for?"
I ask the woman where she's located to know what part of town she is, ensuring she's local. And I ask her what she's looking for so I know if we're on the same page.
When you ask a woman what she's looking for on Pure, she'll usually ask what you're looking for. Be straightforward with what you're seeking.
Don't be wishy-washy with women on Pure. You're only wasting your time if you don't go after what you want.
Never ask a woman, "How's your evening" or "what are you up to tonight?" You can't be boring. The woman is on the app for a reason, so steer the conversation towards your goal.
5. Use great photos.
You don't need photos to succeed on Pure. I rely on my bio, which works for me. But, the right photos can certainly help capture a woman's attention.
Unfortunately, men typically use terrible photos. Below is an example of a lousy photo choice on Pure.
Photos like the one above do not help you. No woman is going to be intrigued (or turned on) by a picture of your eye.
Here are the mistakes I see on the app. Avoid using any of these types of pictures:
- Long-distance photo where it's difficult to see your appearance.
- Gym photos - pictures of yourself at the gym are not a turn-on for women.
- Photos laying in bed - Seriously, stop this.
- Quotes - Yes, guys use these, and they serve no benefit.
- Photos with face filters.
- Wearing a mask - Stop wearing masks in your photos on apps.
- Staged photos - Look at the camera, not away from it.
- Pictures where you appear unkempt - wrinkled shirts and saggy jeans will not help you match with women.
If you choose to use a picture, I recommend a full-body photo. Women on Pure seek something physical, so it's important to show yourself head-to-toe.
