Science Has Discovered The Penis Size Women Want The Most

Here’s a shocker; penis size DOES matter to women.  A recent study found women have a preference for a BIGGER penis for a one-night stand but are open to an average penis size for a long-term relationship.

A recent study used 3D models made out of blue rubber and let the women choose their optimal size for a fling and relationship.  Previous studies would typically use “vague descriptions” of a penis size for women to choose from or have women choose from 3 sizes using descriptions (small, medium, and large) for example.  This study used actual blue rubber penises.

The Study

The study, Women’s Preferences for Penis Size: A New Research Method Using Selection among 3D Models, set out to look at at the preferences of women for “erect penis sizes” in different relationship contexts.

75 women participated in the study. Each woman filled out a questionnaire which included questions regarding their ethnicity, sexual orientation, number of sexual partners, whether penis size was important, etc…

The women were also asked their preferences in penis size by choosing a “model” based on 33 possible model sizes.

The women were asked to select the penis model that they believed:

• Best reflected the average penis size of men
• Which penis size is most likely to carry a sexually transmitted infection
• Which size penis she would prefer for different types of relationships (long-term vs. a fling).

The questions about preferences for different types of partners were a bit more complex. For one-time partners, each woman was asked:

“Imagine you’re single and you’re out at a restaurant with some friends. You meet an attractive man who is also single. He seems kind, intelligent, funny, and has a great job. You are feeling sexually aroused. He says he’s in town for a conference but he has to fly back home tomorrow afternoon. If you could spend only this one night with him, what size would you want him to be?”

For long-term partners, each woman was asked: “What would be the ideal size for a husband or serious, long-term boyfriend?”

Results

27% of the women reported that they had ended a relationship due to a “mismatch” between their penis size preference and their partner’s penis size. This means the women ended it because their partner failed to “measure up” to their personal preference.

When their partner failed to “measure up”, 75% were because their partner’s penis was too small while 25% were because it was too big.  Women preferred larger penises for one-time partners with the average length being 6.4 inches with a girth of 5.0 inches.

For long-term partners, women preferred slightly smaller penises with the average length being 6.3 inches and a girth of 4.8 inches. It’s worth noting the average penis size is 5.6 inches in the United States so the choice for long-term partners was well above the national average.

Lastly, while most women declined to identify a penis size most likely to carry an STD, women selected even larger penis sizes as the most likely to be infected with an STD.

Final Thoughts

Is it any shock that women prefer men who are more “endowed” when it comes to a fling? Certainly not.  It’s interesting that women preferred penises that are larger than “average” for relationships.  What is of note is that the study confirmed that girth is as important as length.
